Cape Jervis Station was first settled in the 1830s and is a village of old and newer buildings providing a variety of accommodation options.
BIG4 Cape Jervis Accommodation & Caravan Park is the Gateway to Kangaroo Island or the perfect place to stay on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula, only an hour and a half from Adelaide.
Whether you are travelling to Kangaroo Island or just visiting the region, they can provide you with food and wine, bed and breakfast.

The Kangaroo Island ferry terminals are a short 5 minute trip away. There is a convenient 24 hour booking and check in kiosk available for those arriving after office hours.
Accommodation ranges from ensuite rooms to self-contained cottages that sleep from one up to seven people, some of the rooms and cottages feature beautiful original stonework.
For those who like to Camp or Caravan their property also has a lovely grassed area with large powered and unpowered sites available. The park has hot showers, toilets and is disabled friendly. They have a well equipped camp kitchen and laundry facilities to make your stay more comfortable.

Rooms
Homestead No 6
Homestead No 6 is a larger 2 bedroom apartment with a queen bed in one room, and a queen bed plus 2 singles in the other. It has a private bathroom and a handy kitchen diner opening into the lounge area. Outside is a great little verandah with a timber bench, ideal to gather around for a chat or a few drinks
Oregon
The original floor boards that were rediscovered has inspired the name for this little gem. With a Queen bed and a Single bed in the one room its ability to sleep up to 3 people makes it an ideal twin share.
Adjoining the reception building and sharing a garden area with Huon, the beautiful Oregon room sits below its character verandah, with everything you need for a very comfortable stay, whether it be over night or a few nights. A separate bedroom, leads through to a lounge area with RC/AC, Tea & coffee making facilities plus a fridge, toaster and microwave. and on towards your private courtyard patio. Enjoy a cuppa in the morning outside in your own private patio area and listen to the wildlife on the farm to start your day.
Huon
Adjoining the reception building, beautiful Huon Room, named nestles below its character verandah and over looks a garden area that it shares with Oregon. Whether it is over night or a few nights, Huon has everything you need for a very comfortable country stay. A separate bedroom, leads through to a lounge area and on towards your private courtyard patio. With RC/AC, a Queen bed, private bathroom , tea & coffee making facilities plus a fridge, toaster and microwave its an ideal spot. Enjoy a cuppa in the morning outside in your own private patio area listening to the birds
Homestead No 5
Homestead No 5, our happy little sun-drenched room it catches every bit of winter sun, yet misses the direct summer heat. It has a Queen bed and two Singles in one bedroom, plus a lounge to relax on. It has a private bathroom and a neat little table so you can grab a bit of breakfast before starting the day, with RC/AC, Tea & coffee making facilities plus a fridge, toaster and microwave. What more do you need? Ideal if you need to stay a couple of days, but don't want to cook .
Homestead No 3
Situated at the back of the property Homestead No 3 looks out across the garden and farmland towards the hills, ideally situated to give you a slice of rural charm. A cosy little sitting room adds to the space required if travelling with others. With RC/AC, a Queen bed and two Singles in one bedroom , private bathroom , tea & coffee making facilities plus a fridge, toaster and microwave it is an affordable option.
Cobblestone Keep
Cobblestone Keep is one of our largest accommodation options, and is disabled/wheelchair friendly. Made from the original stone found on the property, it has two spacious bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms & RC/AC. Bedroom one has a Queen bed and a Single bed, the bathroom has a wet room shower. It is equipped with handrails and wheelchair access to the shower
The second room has a Queen bed and two Single beds, the ensuite bathroom is a shower over bath with a swing around shower screen
The living room and full size kitchen area is a great open area for everyone to come together and talk about the day gone by.
Relax outside on the patio area whilst you cook dinner on the BBQ.
Settlers Cottage
Settlers cottage, was built in the late 1830's and one of the first cottages in the area. This is the ideal accommodation for a longer stay, Being a two bedroom, cottage, with a Laundry, Private bathroom, Kitchen/dining room and a separate Lounge area
The main bedroom has a Queen bed & Single bed with ensuite. The second bedroom has two Single beds and there is also a Double sofa bed available in the lounge. The cosy lounge area is a great place to sit and wind down after a busy day. At the rear of the property there is an outdoor entertaining area with an undercover BBQ and outdoor seating.
Railway Cottage
Railway Cottage is a very popular two bedroom self contained cottage.
It has a large private bathroom that adjoins the two bedrooms. The main bedroom, which is actually a converted railway carriage, has a queen bed with its own flat screen TV and couch for a little extra privacy. It opens out on to a rear deck with BBQ that looks out to the farmlands.
The second bedroom has three single beds, a perfect sized room for everyone to fit in. Both bedrooms have RC/AC and open out into the neat kitchen, with a dining area that adjoins the lounge.
Pine Cottage
The Pine Cottage, is a one bedroom self contained cottage ideal if you would like a little more room, but cosy enough that you won’t get lost in it. As you enter from the Verandah area you soon see that it has plenty of space to stay for one night or even a week, a comfy little home away from home. With a Queen bed in the separate bedroom, you will feel right at home, the lounge which adjoins the dining area is big enough to accommodate a Double sofa bed and a sofa, and leads into the dining area, with RC/AC it also opens out on to an east facing deck complete with a BBQ
The full sized kitchen is well equipped. A lovely little spot to be able to sit back and relax
The Stables
Special things happen in stables and cow sheds, and our Stables Cottage is the most unique cottage we have on the property, renovated from the original stable it has a special calm attached to it. Designed as a getaway for couples it features a King size bed in step-down bedroom that showcases the original stonework and window slots. With views from the verandah across the farmland towards Kangaroo Island from its rear courtyard you can be in your own little world. With a pleasant private bathroom and neat kitchen that over looks the the cosy lounge featuring a combustion wood fire and RC/AC, it offers a restful tranquility in its simple and private layout.

Homestead No 7
Situated at the front of the homestead No 7 has its own small deck area which overlooks the property, where you can watch the comings and goings that each day brings. Its is an ideal room if you are looking for that overnighter with RC/AC, a Queen bed, private ensuite, tea & coffee making facilities plus a fridge, toaster and microwave.
Ringers Room
Using Part of the original shearers accommodation. We have created a Studio room with a Queen bed, a Double sofa bed and a private bathroom. It has a lovely verandah that overlooks the lawn area with views to the sea, the Ringers Room is an ideal spot on a hot day with its thick stone walls. With RC/AC, Tea & coffee making facilities plus a fridge, toaster and microwave. We especially recommended booking The Ringers Room if you are coming in late or need to head off early
The Shearers Quarters
As the name suggests we have used a portion of the original stone shearers accommodation. We have created a Studio room with a Queen bed, a Double sofa bed and a private bathroom. It has a lovely verandah that overlooks the lawn area with views to the sea, The Shearers Quarters is an ideal spot on a hot day with its thick stone walls. With RC/AC, Tea & coffee making facilities plus a fridge, toaster and microwave. We especially recommended booking The Shearers Quarters if you are coming in late or need to head off early
