Imagine Your World in Stories and Art

Imagine is a two day children's literary festival which is aimed at developing story telling skills for all participants. This event is made up of 5 main parts. For pre school aged children there will be story telling and activities presented by local children's authors. For school aged children (5 - 16 years) there will be writing workshops, based on age, presented by South Australian Children's authors. For all ages there will be art workshops looking at different themes and mediums to assist young writers with illustrating their stories. In addition to these workshops, there will also be a daily lunch time guest speaker. These presentations are suitable for all ages and are presented by Mem Fox and Mandy Foot. To cap off each day there will be readings by finalists in the Fleurieu Councils Mayor's Reading Challenge
