Imagine Your World in Stories and Art

The main aim of this program is to assist children on the Fleurieu Peninsula to improve their literacy skills by creating a positive environment in which to experience the joy of storytelling in its varied forms.
This is a family-focused program that has the support of local schools and the Yankalilla District Council using local writers and artists. Attendees will have the opportunity for ongoing mentorship should it appropriate. The lunchtime sessions are aimed predominantly at adults with speakers such as Mem Fox and Mandy Foot discussing their careers in both storytelling and illustrations in the hope of inspiring children.
All participants under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.
